December Draw
There had been a session of "Simply Red" songs and then the wonderful buffet which Rick had prepared for us.
After everyone had had their fill we managed to extricate the Captain, Lady Captain and the President to pull out the lucky numbers for us.
The Captain was asked to pick the big one and out came number 56. This belongs to Joe Holten who now lives in Ireland but just happened to be over for New Years Eve. Well worth the trip I think, and it was said that he could help the Irish debt crisis with his £860!
We were delighted that we had the winner present so Mr Captain could present him with his cheque.

October Draw
Our October draw took place on Friday 28th October in a fairly noisy Richard Burton room as there was a birthday party in the mixed lounge. However with our loyal bunch of followers and a musical background the numbers were pulled out.
First out was M. McHugh C/O Charlie McKintyre. We think it is his mother-in-law. It was number 179 and netted her £649.
Second was Lyndon Bates whose number 103 gave him £173.
Third out was number 14 which is the second time that Kevin J Moore has won. This time it was £47 and we caught up with him after his game on Saturday for a photo.
You may have noticed that work has started on the course furniture which is a 200 club project,
If there are any more ideas please put them forward.
The next draw will take place on friday November 25th at 8pm.
Come and enjoy a fish and chip supper and maybe a cheque as well!

September Draw
The September Draw took place at the McMillan coffee morning on Friday Sept 30th. There were lots of ladies attending and they were all hopeful for a win!
The first number pulled out was 191 and the name was B Mathews. It is Julie's father who is not a member of the Golf Club but has been a member of the 200 club since the beginning. I think his arm was pulled up his back by Julie! He won £649, and I feel sure a treat will be coming Julie's way!
Photo to follow
Second out was number 171 which belongs to Shiela Houghton (Captain Elect's better half!) They just happen to be in Australia at the moment but word got to them pretty quickly! Lets hope they celebrate "Aussie style".
Look where Sheila spent her winnings!
Third out was number 28, no stranger to success! It belongs to Dereck Smith and he won £43.
Have you registered your vote for the new proposal? Don't forget, if you have any ideas as to how our money should be spent, do a bit of homework and put your ideas and costings to the 200 club organisers.
The next draw will take place on Friday October 28th. We will revert to the old time of 8pm during the winter months.

August Draw
Monday, 1 August 2011
July Draw
Before the draw took place the Captain seemed worried that he might once again pull out one of the "regular" winners!! He therefore asked Kevin Alston to pick the first number out.
This was number 30 which belongs to Ian Bullough. He won £645.
Lady Captain Sylvia delved deep for the next number which was 44. Tony Ball was the lucky owner and receives a cheque for £172.
The Captain then picked the third number, 43.This belongs to Tony Ball's son-in-law Colin Byrne!! He receives a cheque for £43.
Thank you to all the 200 Club members for your votes and comments on the latest project proposal. The vote was very much in favour of the investment in course accessories - ball washers, divot boxes, broken tee recepticles and bins. So very soon you will start to see these appearing on the course complementing the existing accessories we have out there for your use and convenience.
Thank you again. We really do appreciate your input.
If you have any more ideas you need to get them costed and then presented to Hilary Tarleton so that it can be put to the 200 club members for approval.
The next draw will be on Friday August 26th.
