January draw

The first draw of 2011 took place on Friday 28th January in the clubhouse. A select gathering including Lady Captain attended and enjoyed Rick's fish and chips.

The first number drawn out of the box was a brand new number purchased since New Year!!

The lucky owner of number 151 is Jennifer Hilson, Frank's wife! She wins £634.

Second prize of £169 went to Ian Jordan.

The lucky recipient of the third prize of £42 was David Ashton whose wife Helen won the big six monthly prize on New Years eve.

The next draw will rake place on Friday February 25th at 8pm.

Happy New Year to all Sale Golf Club 200 club members!

The New Year has arrived and with it the start of the 3rd year of our 200 club.

We had our usual monthly draw and the BIG twice yearly one at the New Years Eve social event.

With 120 people attending we fully expected there to be a winner in attendance, but sadly none of them were.

The Big prize was drawn out first. The lucky winner of £840 was Helen Butcher (now Helen Ashton).

A phone call to her revealed that she was in Cyprus! However, as soon as she returned she hot footed it to the Club, with husband David, to collect her cheque.

The first prize of £673 went to Phil Whitworth. Within seconds he had got the news from some of his friends who were going out with him the following day and were intent on helping him spend it!

The second prize of £170 was won by Charlie McIntyre and the third prize of £43 went to Len Wood.
