We had some difficulty with the date of our draw this month. The last Friday in the month is our preferred date, but someone had decided that there was going to be a big wedding in London that day!! As our regular following of Lady members were either attending the wedding or else they were celebrating it elsewhere we knew we didn't have the numbers to make a good evening of it. However there was a Men's presentation taking place that evening so it was decided that the draw should take place immediately prior to that.
Of course the Captain was there to pull out the lucky numbers, and the first one out of the box was 55. This belongs to John Maloney who picked up his cheque for £641 on Monday morning.

The second number to come out was 152, the owner of which was there at the presentation. It was none other than our Captain Elect, Peter Middleton. The captain was able to present him with his cheque for £171 there and then!

Third out was number 65 which has been a lucky number for Pat Hannah. I think it may be the third time she has won. This time it was £43.



There will be more discussions soon as to what the next project the money raised will be spent on.


In the meantime we must encourage new members to join the 200 club and we can make even more money available for improvements to benefit all members of Sale Golf Club.

The next draw will take place on Friday May 27th at 8pm.
