March Draw

Here we are a quarter of the way through the year! Our draw took place at the Mixed League Dinner on Friday March 25th. It was an exciting thought having a larger captive audience and we were confident that we would have a winner in the room. Alas this was not to be! Mr Captain pulled out the first number. It was 39, and the lucky owner is Dereck Smith. He collected his cheque for £641.00 just before going out to play on Saturday. Hopefully he was just as lucky on the course! Lady Captain pulled the second number from the drum. Number 2 is Stan Schofield's number. He won £171.00. Lady President did the honours pulling out the third number. Number 107 belongs to Gareth Moore and he won £43.00 which he collected after his golf on Saturday. It would seem from the past three months that you are more likely to win if you are not at the draw, but the more people we can get there the more likely that we will have a winner in the room.

So, Come on members and join us at the next draw on Friday April 29th.

February Draw

The last Friday in the month came round quickly this month and it was time for the 200 club draw!
The number attending was up on last month and they all enjoyed Rick's fish and chips again.
Lady Captain was there and pulled out the all the numbers.
Still no winner in attendance, but a distinct feeling of deja vue as the first number out was 18 and that is Jack Bishop's number!
He won £634. He must have done something very good in his life to be so lucky!! He has of course got more than one number so maybe that is the answer!

The second number to come out was 96. This belongs to Gill Ross one of our new lady members who only joined the 200 club in October. She won £169.

Third out was 33. This is a significant number in Glen Norton's life and gave him winnings of £42. A couple of good bottles of wine maybe Glen?!!

We continue to attract new members but would like even more.
