July Draw

What a good crowd of regular supporters including the Captain we had for our fish and chip supper before the draw this month.

Before the draw took place the Captain seemed worried that he might once again pull out one of the "regular" winners!! He therefore asked Kevin Alston to pick the first number out.

This was number 30 which belongs to Ian Bullough. He won £645.

Lady Captain Sylvia delved deep for the next number which was 44. Tony Ball was the lucky owner and receives a cheque for £172.

The Captain then picked the third number, 43.This belongs to Tony Ball's son-in-law Colin Byrne!! He receives a cheque for £43.

Thank you to all the 200 Club members for your votes and comments on the latest project proposal. The vote was very much in favour of the investment in course accessories - ball washers, divot boxes, broken tee recepticles and bins. So very soon you will start to see these appearing on the course complementing the existing accessories we have out there for your use and convenience.

Thank you again. We really do appreciate your input.

If you have any more ideas you need to get them costed and then presented to Hilary Tarleton so that it can be put to the 200 club members for approval.

The next draw will be on Friday August 26th.

Big June Draw

June is always an exciting time in the 200 Club calendar for it is when we deliver a whopping great cheque, called the BIG ONE, to a lucky winner. This is in addition to the 3 fantastic monthly prizes.

Jack Bishop is no stranger to winning. He wins golf matches and this month he won the BIG ONE. Jack took home a cheque for £845.00. As Jack is a regular winner there is a photo on file which was taken on a previous lucky day!

1st prize was won by Kevin J Moore who netted a cheque for £645.00

Helen Ashton took a 2nd prize cheque of £172.00

Last but by no means least, Christine Harris was delighted, if a little shocked, to win our 3rd prize cheque of £43.00. "You're joking" she said.

Congratulations to all the winners and THANK YOU for your support of the 200 Club.

We have just launched our 7th Project for your approval. We have issued it by email and placed it on the 200 Club Board in the Clubhouse. So please give us your vote in the usual way - by email or by voting slip behind the Bar in the Richard Burton Room.

We wish to purchase a range of Course Accessories which will further enhance the look of the course and the facilities we provide for members and visitors. There are high quality ball washers, bins, broken tee recepticles, divoting boxes and enhanced flags and cups for our 3 practice putting greens.

Another project that we are considering currently is an "Amen Corner" at the back of the 13th green. This is one of our showpiece holes and we wish to enhance it further by introducing colour and structure. The Greens Team is conducting some initial exploratory work. When their investigations are complete, they will formulate a Project Proposal which we can share with you.

Thank you for your support and remember, if you have an idea, let us know about it.

The next draw will take place on Friday 29th July immediately preceding the mens' presentation at 8.45pm.
