The August draw took place on September 2nd due to a clash of events the previous week.
Before the draw took place a few details of our income and expenditure were explained.
The last project that the members were asked to vote on ( Course accessories) has been approved, and will come in at a cost of just under £6000. We still have approximately £9000 in the bank and would ask anyone with a proposal to do the groundwork on costing so that it can be put to the membership.
Mr President was at the draw and was given the job of pulling all three numbers out of the box.
The first to come out was 93 and the helper whose job it was to scan the list to see who was the lucky owner went very quiet for a moment and looked at the assembled group. Lady President said "Whats wrong?" and she said "Its my number!" That lucky person was Judith Stanistreet who won the sum of £649.
The second number to come out was 67, this belongs to David Carlisle,who won £173, and third out was 35 which belongs to David Ashton. He won £43.After the draw people were discussing how some members have won a few times. The only reason we can come up with is that some people have more than one number.
The Stanistreets have 3 numbers, David Carlisle has 3 numbers and the Ashtons have 2 numbers.
SO Members you know what you need to do! Buy another number!
